You may want to be sure that your assets will be received by your chosen heirs, avoiding any disputes over property. Depending on Provincial laws, passing without a will might cost your surviving loved ones money that you want to be theirs.

A Basic Personal Will does not include complex trusts, or estate planning necessary for federally taxable large estates, or transfer of business assets or a living will. It will include normal bequests and will provide a simple support trust for minor Children as part of the will.

After receiving your phone call, we will send you a detailed planning booklet to walk you through the Will Preparation Process along with a questionnaire. Reviewing the booklet and completing the questionnaire will help you prepare for your visit with the Referral Lawyer. This important service is provided as part of your subscription in Legal Sense^® at no additional cost.

If you require more extensive estate planning, call the Customer Service Centre for a referral to a lawyer who focuses on estate planning. These lawyers will extend to you the 25% discount for their fees, which must be paid by you.

With Legal Sense^®, you and your Spouse are entitled to have Basic Personal Wills drawn up by a Legal Sense^® lawyer at no extra cost to you.
